This Data Retention Policy explains how long the United We Stand Canada Foundation retains personal information and why.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

A. Donation Records

Retained for 7 years, in accordance with CRA requirements (once registered).

B. Order Information (Merchandise)

Retained for 7 years for accounting, audit, and fraud‑prevention purposes.

C. Volunteer & Contact Form Submissions

Retained for up to 3 years, unless ongoing communication requires longer retention.

D. Email Subscription Data

Retained until you unsubscribe.

E. Device & Analytics Data

Retained for 26 months (Google Analytics default), unless otherwise required.

F. Payment Information

We do not store full credit card numbers.
Payment processors retain data according to their own policies.

Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal information where legally permitted.
Some records cannot be deleted due to legal or accounting requirements.
